Jacob Soelberg
For 20 years Jacob has worked as a professional violinist. After studying in Copenhagen and Cologne he became a member of The Danish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO) from 1991 until 2008. Jacob was for 11 successful years also a member of the Zapolski Quartet, which he co-founded with the violinist Alexander Zapolski in 1993. Besides playing in the Quartet Jacob Soelberg took care of all its management affairs and secured its engagements and was also manager of the quartets international chamber music festival 'Öresund Festival' for five years.

While Jacob Soelberg worked with the staff of Symphony Hall, Birmingham UK and the City of Birmingham Orchestra, where he stayed for six months. the inspiration for Copenhagen Artists and Nordic Concerts arose, and today he is the director of Copenhagen Artists.

In 2009 Copenhagen Artists and Jacob Soelberg took over the management of the Malko Competition, a Danish competition for young conductors.

Jacob Soelberg is since 2010 a board member of IAMA and since July 2010 an advisory board member of Jazzhus Montmartre.
