Tina Linn Austad
Tina was born in Norway and started to study the double bass in 1972. She was admitted to the Norwegian Academy of Music, Oslo, in 1975 and both while studying and after graduation she played in Oslo Philharmonic, Norwegian Opera and Norwegian Radio Orchestra.

In 1980 Tina moved to Denmark to play with Copenhagen Philharmonic and later the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Next to the above engagements Tina has been a double bass teacher for many years.

She returned to school in order to perfect her Danish and German and joined Tivoli Artists in 1993, where she mainly worked with singers, but also instrumentalists, conductors and orchestra touring were part of her responsibilities. Seeking new challenges she joined Copenhagen Artists in 2007.
